T.Y's Fashion Show

After months and months of preparing the costumes we all finally have it all done.
Today 3 classes of Home Ec had a fashion show in front of all the T.Ys. Today was a really good day , Even though we thought it was going really bad in  the ed it went really well. In my group  there was me Saoirse , Jennifer and Aoife. We thought of the Wood Land Fairy because we wanted to me edco friendly. my group wanted to be different , and we were , while we were doing our project of designing the costume we were all aving a feeling that it would go wrong bu in the end it went really well. Everyones costume was really good and everyone put in really good effort and it all went really well in the end. :) Now all we hav eto do now is to wait to see who won , but i think that it isnt all about winning i think its all about having fun and enjoying yourself.  We all enjoyed it really well. Everyone costume had to be different and had to be made  wiith a t-shirt and jeans and u could dye them and cut them you had to be creative and imagative. All the girls costume were beautiful and i just really enjoyed it. Now all we are looking forward to now is to have our holidays for christmas.

Yes , its me :)
we have so much going on this week.
*. we have to present our geography project , I was with Roisin. We went to 6 different Countries and we had to write about
1. Capital
2. Language
3. Currency
4. Religion
5. The Traditional Costoms
6. History
7.Something interesting about the Country.
8. A place we visited.

* But after a good long 2 months we finally got it done and now all we have to do is present it to our geography Class.

 *Next week we have our Christmas tests , on Monday and Tuesday , and were going bowling on Wednesday.

As a part of a mini company today my class banba are having a cake sale at big break , im really excited because we are having a cake sale :D

Yeah its me im back again :-)
I haven't been on this blogger in ages because we have just been so busy lately and we have been missing I.T.
All next week we have the sound of music :-) from the 5th of December to the 8th of December :-) .
the sound of music is at the mill in celbridge.
in our school it is going to be really busy as we have a lot to be doing. The opera was really good but the bad thing is that we didnt really understand what they were saying but the good thing is that they had subtitles on so we all could read on th screen what they were saying. the opera went on for 5hours and we had a break for 10 minutes so we could get McDonalds :) , the best part was that we had the whole cinema to ourselfs. on the bus we listened to music and all of us sang on the bus and we had a really good time:-).

now on friday all of the T.y's are going to a ballet from 10:30 to 3:20 :-) i have never been to a ballet before and now im just about to go and see what it's like.

Work experience is almost here.. :D

Work Experience is almost here :D , this week is just a normal week in school , but the only thing thta i dont like is the big projects we have but they are almost done :) i have always been excited to do work experience :) The week thta i am going on work experience is going to be really good and the woman that work there seem really nice :)

Work Experience / midtrem

Today we are having a talk with Mr. Donhan (my old principle)
He is having a talk with us about the history of celbridge because he wrote the book on the history of celbridge. 
 Our midterm starts on friday and i cant wait :D the midterm is going to be really good. Then the week i come back I have a history assigment due a geography project in for too. Then the second week we are back from midterm i have my work experience :D im working with kiddies choice on the maynooth road and i am dying to work there.
After my work experience my english Juno And The Paycock review is due in. But the good thing is that i have it done already :-)
Well im off now , the nxt class is Religion , so i better be heading :-)

Juno and The Paycock :-)

Yesterday , Ms Guilfoyle , Ms. Cosgrove came with the T.y's to see Juno and the Paycock. We went to see it in the abby threatre on Abbey Street. In school for the last few weeks we were reading it in English class , but it was really hard to understand so yesterday we went to see it. it was really good and i really enjoyed it. we went to see the Bog Bodies in the Museum. It looked really weird to see peoples bodies from years and years ago. We went to see the bog bodies before we went to the play. The play Was from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. After Juno and the Paycock was over we all got our bus home and we got home at around half 5 :) . It was a really good day and it was well worth going to see it. It was that good that i would go to see it again :) Before we went to see the juno and the paycock we got a choice to go to Mc. Donalds or Subway :) i went to get subway :)

my work experience :)

alright people , Lori here again :)

This week is the week where everyone has to have their work experience done and have to know where they are going for the work experience. i think that the work experience is T.y is a really good oppurtunity to see what work is like for when you get older. :)

for my work experience i chose to do childcare :) i love being around children and just seeing them having a smile on their face :) .. i am really excited to do my work experience and get a chance to be apart of the adult world :)

Work experience

Yes this is the week where you need to find work experience.
There are alot of boys and girls in T.y that are looking for work experience and the best way to find it is not to leave it for ages or the week before becasue you dont know if you will get it. you get really stressed incase the work experience you apply for thta dont accept you. the best thing to do is to apply for about ten places incase you dont get accepted in a place.
I want to do child care because i love being around children..I have wanted to do child care since my neightbours used to mind children aged 1+  I would have the patentions with children.

Hello Again(:
im back again :) yeah another week of t.y (:
its my 4th week back and there  was so much things going on like i had carlingford the j.c and now i have the work experience in november. im looking for somewhere but hopefully i can get the place i want (:  you just have so much going on that its hard to keep track on what you have to do but the other side is that you do have a bit of crack doing the projects with your friends and all (:

now this week i have the scientist exhibition with madeleine :D we are doing our project on make-up effects on the skin becasue we couldnt think of any thing else.. most of us got to do homework club and to help out a lot of girls in my class wanted to do it adn they got it. so im happy for them (:

the mini company is really good as well becasue you get to come up with an idea for a project so yourself and your group can sell.. im not quiet sure about our project in mini company..
sure i hope we do have a bit of fun doing it but then as well we do have to but our heads down and work hard.

The Jc :)

Heey im back again :)
yes its thursday morning and im in I.T.. all the 3rd years last year got their junior cert results back. Everyone was really anxious and really scared but when we got our results back everyone was happy with what they got :-) i am really happy with what i got becasue i wasnt expecting what i got :-) my mam and dad were really happy with what i got :-) everyone went time/mantra and i didnt want to go any where because i was really tired from carlingford , so i got to go to bed really early so it was all good :-) . i can see that everyone is really tired and  im not :-) since we are all really tired the teachers are going easy on us :-) 

the best part of today was that in religion we did medatation and it was really relaxing and everyone was really quiet and chilled out :-) , but now later we have activities to do like dancing , photographs and pilates which will wake me up.. today is like flying through aswell :-)

Carlingford:) 12th/13th September 2k11

Hi :)
Every girl in T.y had to be at esso station at quarter to 7 and the bus left esso station at 7..
we were all really tired but as the day went on we were all awake :)
we did a good few activites and we all had a good time..
there was a lot of walking to do when we were there and also alot of sheep :)
Todays the first day back from Carlingford and everyones tired :( Carlingford was really good because you got to know girls in your year alot better. Its good to be home :D
There was a few lads there and all the girls got to talk to the lads there at night :)

On the monday morning we had to bring our bags to a store room.. each school that was there had their own room to put there bags in.. we did activities like the challenge  which were about team work.. they included  the spider web , the maze and other challenges.. we had lunch at half 12 and after we finished lunch we went back out and did more activities. :)  Dinnner was at half 5 :-) For the night line we went to the forest all together and we did the night line:) its was really good crack:D  we got blind folded  and has to have one hand on the shoulder of the  person in front of you.  most girls started to fall and you had to guide the people behind you. It was so dark in the forest that you couldnt see where you were going :-)  after the night line we all got 3in1 and some girls got chipper.. after the chinnese myself and my room mates had our chinnese on the floor of our our room.. :-) then went down stairs and there was alot of girls and boys talking and then there were people singing and it was all good crack :-D the best thing about the room was that there was a group of random girls in the room and we all got along and had a blast because i started dancing in the middle of the floor and all the girls started laughing at me :L i started packing my bags monday night cause i wasnt tired and we were all talking.. there was 10 girls in my room including me :)


Tuesday morning we woke up at half 6 and all had a shower.. the shower was the best part :D  we had breakfast from 8 to 9 and at nine we did activities like rock climbing and we had to do a 3hour walk and to find numbers and letters it seems really long  but we were all talking to eachother and the time went by really fast :) We were up so high that you could see whole sea and the view was amazing :D
we all did so much that i cant remember all the activities :)
